Hakko FX-805 Heavy Duty Soldering Station

The HAKKO FX-805 Ultra Heavy-Duty Soldering Station is designed for the difficult soldering of large mass components such as high current inductor coils, heat sinks, large transformers, and other connections that requires to overcome a significant amount of thermal inertia. The station features a backlit LCD display, wireless sleep mode, an IR communication port, and a USB port that works with HAKKO Control Software from a computer to setup and manage the soldering station and record data. It is compatible with the newly developed T37 series tips (sold separately) which maximises the performance of 400W power, and is backwards compatible to work with T33 tips. The kit comes with a lightweight soldering handpiece, holder and intake air-filter.
The HAKKO FX-805 Ultra Heavy-Duty Soldering Station is specially designed for the difficult soldering of extremely large mass components such as high current inductor coils, heat sinks, large transformers, shields, and other connections where there is a significant amount of thermal inertia that must be overcome.
It comes with the standard lightweight soldering handpiece, holder and intake air-filter. In addition, it also features a backlit LCD display, wireless sleep mode by turning off the power when the iron is in the holder, an IR communication port, and a USB port that works with HAKKO Control Software from a computer to setup and manage the soldering station and record data.
The station uses new T37 Series Tips that feature 390W HAKKO Composite Ceramic heating elements that have a top controlled temperature of 500°C and high mass shapes. This combination allows for soldering some of the most challenging solder joints at only 400°C even without preheating! Like other HAKKO soldering stations, the quality and construction of HAKKO brand tips lend the renowned reputation for long tip life to this new series of massive soldering iron tips. The station is also backward compatible with existing T33 Series and T33 Slim Series tips.
It also includes the same features as the previous model including normal and power operating modes, up to 6 user programmable preset temperatures, automatic shut-off for safety if the unit is left on by accident, and process control lockout with password protection.
