CAT5 Extender Redback Vertical Wallplate

This mic/line pre-amp wallplate accepts either a microphone or line input and converts the signal to a balanced high level output. The 3V output signal is carried via Cat5e cable, (suitable for distribution up to 300m without interference) back to the PA4928 Receiver. Mic input is via a balanced XLR whilst the line input is via 2 x RCA sockets or 3.5mm audio jack for portable devices with a lower level line output. The wallplates receive power down the Cat5e cable from PA4928.

The Redback CAT5 Extender series is desingned to send and receive audio over CAT5 cable up to a maximum distance of 300 metres. An installation requires one receiver PA4928 and your choice of sender being a PA4932 unit or wall plate style options PA4931 (Horizontal) or PA4931V (Vertical), all sold separate. The input to output is either a balanced microphone XLR, or line level stereo audio via RCA or 3.5mm. The receiver includes a mains power pack and phantom powers the senders via the CAT5 cable. These units are of premium quality and performance and made in Australia by Redback.
