Fibreglass Thermal Insulation Sleeving with Silicon Rubber Finish
CABAC fibreglass sleeving is designed to provide mechanical protection for electrical cables
and thermal insulation for high-temperature components. The flexible sleeve is easy to apply
over metallic wires to provide an abrasion-resistant cover that prevents damage. The fibreglass
material has excellent strength and durability, with a tight weave that ensures the sleeve will
maintain its round shape while remaining flexible. Fibreglass sleeving is flame retardant, water
repellent and recommended for high-temperature applications.
The combined mechanical, thermal and environmental protection that this sleeving provides
means that it is typically used to insulate high-temperature components in the home and industrial
appliances. Common applications include electric heaters, toasters, stove elements, ovens,
refrigerators, motors and generators.
Our fibreglass sleeving is made with a smooth interior and exterior finish to a wall thickness of
approximately 0.45mm.
