• Unless otherwise stated on the product page or invoice, most products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of dispatch or purchase.
• Warranty coverage applies to manufacturing, electrical, or mechanical defects under normal use conditions.
• Warranty claims are subject to assessment and approval by the original supplier or manufacturer.
Warranty Claim Conditions
To process a warranty claim, customers must:
• Provide the original invoice or proof of purchase.
• Return the product freight prepaid to our nominated warehouse or supplier location.
• Include a brief description of the fault or issue experienced.
• Ensure the product has been fully tested prior to return.
Products found to be free from faults after testing may incur a testing or handling fee.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranty will be void if:
• Products have been misused, incorrectly installed, modified, or repaired by unauthorized persons.
• Warranty labels, serial numbers, or security seals have been removed or tampered with.
• Static-sensitive devices or anti-static packaging have been damaged or not returned in their original packaging where applicable.
• Damage has occurred due to improper handling, power surges, environmental conditions, or normal wear and tear.
Returns & Freight
• Customers are responsible for all freight, packaging, and insurance costs associated with returning goods for warranty assessment.
• We recommend using trackable shipping methods as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit.
Repair or Replacement
Depending on the supplier’s warranty policy, approved warranty claims may result in:
• Repair of the product
• Replacement with the same or equivalent product
• Store credit or refund where applicable
All warranty outcomes are subject to supplier assessment and product availability.
Limitation of Liability
CablesOnline Australia does not manufacture most of the products sold on this website. While we work closely with reputable suppliers to ensure product quality, our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of faulty products where applicable under Australian Consumer Law.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use or inability to use products purchased from our website.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Customers are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
