The TP-Link Deco M5 router is a comprehensive whole-home Wi-Fi solution. This dual band router can transmit data at 450Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 867Mbps on the 5GHz band which add up to ~1300Mbps of WiFi speed. Unlike an ordinary WiFi router, the main feature of the Deco M5 is its ability to pair up with other Deco M5 units (sold separately) to create a mesh WiFi network that will provides seamless coverage over the entire home (Up to 10 DECO units can be used on the same network).
The DECO M5 uses TP-Link’s Adaptive Routing Technology (ART) technology which ensures your network runs at the fastest possible speed by assigning your devices to the best available Deco unit and Wi-Fi band to connect to. It also re-assigns your devices seamlessly to other DECO units as the devices move around your home. Easy to setup with the free to download Deco App which is available from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The router has a 3 year antivirus and malware protection to protect all the connected devices on your network. Robust and easy to configure parental controls and QoS.
